Proteomics
Our group develops global and targeted proteomic as well as chemical, pharmacological and bioinformatic methods. We apply those methods to study how different cell types of the human blood and immune system are organized and regulated, and how they communicate and interact with each other. Our current focus is on identifying the mechanisms and factors that lead to inflammatory responses and cause diseases such as arthritis and cardiovascular disease, information we use to develop possible treatments.
