The research in our laboratory involves using NMR spectroscopy and related biophysical methods to understand the biological functions of proteins involved in signalling and metabolism. Specific projects focus on: (i) the regulation of Ets transcription factors; (ii) the control of protein function by phosphorylation and sumoylation; and (iii) the electrostatic and dynamic bases for enzymatic catalysis by glycosidases and proteases.
